Avada Kadabra
Killing people with Avada Kadabra
Why do they scream? they should just fall silently dead and maybe just let the air out of the lungs in a small gasp.

I like it. It makes the curse darker, feel more evil. If they drop dead like a rock instantly there's less impact on it being unforgivable compared to just overdoing it during a battle. When they scream it gives the impression that being hit by it is probably tremendously painful.

well, maybe if they see the curse directed at them and knowing they'll be dead in a second. Why not scream?

Yeah Avada is way worse than being transmorphed in an explosive barrel and being thrown Alluah Akbar like in his comrades and taking them with him. Or being cutted / blasted / burned / frozen to death. :D Or getting stabbed with your expelled+thrown wand in your eye or axe on the head.

To be honest the whole lore about unforgivable curses is silly when they are compared with "normal spells".

Well like it says in the game, you have to have intent.
You cant just say it and it will work. You need to have a strong desire to want to kill, maim or control. Which are not a trait most people would like.
Another thing is there is no defence against it other than sacrificial love. Which is why only 1 person was known to survive it and hes not sitting here in these forums.
Now spells you can just learn and throw about and defend against them.
