Character completely frozen

I was doing the plight of the house elf quest when i fell down something in the cave and now everything's frozen. No buttons would work and the only way i could get off it was ALT+F4.
Also the spells in my loadout are all white but weirdly i made a new character and that works just fine but i want my progress back :(

Me too! Please report on the report a bug page (https://hogwartslegacy.bugs.wbgames.com/report) and look up "tobbs" on the search bar and vote for people who reported this bug as well so they can act on it. It seems like only a few people have experienced this error and there isn't much awareness to it

I have made a report on WB but I havent specified it was on the tobbs quest and i havent searched for people with the same problem so i will do that now thank you

Oh my god i thought i was the only one who got this glitch but there's so many people reporting the exact same thing

Just reload a previous save before the affected one. There'll be some back tracking but at least you don't have to start a whole new character.

Yeah i figured that out a while ago but for ages i forgot you could load a save from your character from the main menu lol

Hey! so I stumbled upon this same problem, if you try loading the game from a point that isn't inside the cave it should go back to normal. At least that is how I resolved this issue.

I've just had this glitch as well, was fighting the spider boss, I died and when I respawned I was frozen and all my spell symbols are white
