Who came up with the idea of making potions for so long?
This dev came at work in the morning and said: "This will be f-ng great idea to make players wait 15 secs for 1 healing potion!"

It feels VERY mobile game mechanic-y

Lets hope they don't release paid "time savers" >.>

It gets better, some of them take longer. Definitely missed the mark on these

I second this.

imo the real issue is the very limited amount of consumables I can carry.

The game has a lot of poor design choice in general.

You do realize that most enemies drop Wiggenweld potions almost every time you fight, and I'm playing on Hard difficulty

I'd be okay with the timers if the game had co-op and or PvP so using the resources and time to be effective would mean something.
But as it is single player only it makes no sense, they could´ve just remade the older Harry Potter potion minigames or just let us spam the system like in Elder Scrolls.

You can brew multiple potions at a time when you have the tables set up.

I've hit the cap limit on every potion I can carry.

Insane how people complain even about 15 sec potions lmao. Also forgetting that you must make at least 2 potion stations, to brew much faster.

they should have made it longer, once you get all the best stuff you hit the limit in a few minutes. Carrying 25 healing potions is 20 more than you should be able to have.

It's unnecessary padding and does add up
Sure with 3 potion tables it does take the 15 seconds to cycle them all, but for the combat potions needing to sit down a minute each time adds a wasted hour quite fast.

Really, wasted time in a PC Game while playing it? I would argue you are playing a Game to waste some time on purpose.
Dante Feb 13, 2023 @ 2:53pm
The healing potion, at very least that one, should've been craftable from the inventory IMO.
I understand that it's cool to have a proper table to craft potions and all but not everything that is cool is fun ,design wise.

because its a weird design choice that only cause inconvenience for the player. Its the same thing for the gear limit system. Forgot to sell all your gear before a dungeon? Well you can either risk losing some gear or run the dungeon twice to get the loot.

Good way to offset it would have been make a potion master talent that when maxed allows you to brew maybe 3 doses (potions) per pot.
