You might be seriously overleveled, what season are you on? I'm now lvl28 and the winter missions feel appropriate.
Areas have a level range, for example 10 - 20. The area you're in has a max level of 20.
You can tell the level cap of each area if you zoom the map out entirely and hover over each area on the map, will show like 5-20, 10-40 etc.
game does not seem to Level scale which is good makes it so you can work on become stronger and then use those power to defeat enemy also means you cant just run through game.
for example even story quest they tell you what level there meant for I am at level 25 and just started main plot and quest say there for level 5 and I am level 25
so leveling actually seems to mean something
the gear you get scales though even from the lower level quest.
some areas have higher level monsters thought then others as stated by Moga.
those areas also have lower level monsters running around with the higher levels thought.
the Main quest line seems to be static thought my husband is playing game just started main quest and he is level 30 now and he doing level 10 quest it says and hes picking up level 30 loot from those quest being level 30 he just now go to the map room for example
but anyways for quest and side quest they tell you what level you need to meet as a min to do the quest, but quest do not seem to scale up
Not as I've experienced. Even when I was doing a main quest with a recommended level of 4, I was level 20, and I was encountering enemies marked as level 20.
some "boss" type enemies have usually always been 2 levels higher than me, regardless of where I encounter them.
Yuck. It's terrible for us who like a constant challenge. I feel "stronger" when my skill and gear grows, not when I out-level stuff.
if you open you map and then zoom all the way out u can highlight areas it will tell you what max lvl the they will be, some areas are max lvl 20 were other areas are lvl 40
I am already level 40 and I find level 30 mobs very challenging.
I have been doing so many side quests like you and accessing the dark arena battle.
I find it a good balance to be honest as I requiere to use potions to avoid getting down.
I believe to be scalable to the same mob level, you have to avoid leveling and focus on the main quests.
