HL's graphic nightmares
I'm trying to understand if there is anything what I can do to play HL without buying new PC :D
Please see this image and let me know if anyone from you know is it a graphic card or some other issue. All graphic settings are set as low.
The gameplay speed is fine, but the way everything looks... it hurts.

Depends on your PC but that looks very weird and not at all right I would reinstall the game. But try turning off the default settings and dont use upscaling.

I'm almost sure upscaling is off b default with low quality, but I'll check

I have a Ryzen 7 and my game defaulted to low res and upscaling on. I turned it off, and set everything to high and it looks great. I just wish I could get fullscreen non windowed.

reinstallation did not work either

I don't know how to fix it, but I can tell what it looks like.
The models you see that close are very low quality models used for characters far away.
If they are 200m away you would not be able to see the difference between low quality and high quality. This ist called LOD and is used to improve performance.
For whatever reason you always seem to see the low quality models.
Cinematics are okay I assume?
