Why can't we sell items?

I got access to the room of req and figured I should brew a lot of potions, so I did. And now I'm stuck with a lot of potions I'll probably never use and can't sell. So used to being able to sell things in RPGs--would it make earning money too easy? Or is the fact there isn't that much to buy make it useless. Either way, I want to sell my potions! Such a basic mechanic.. and devs are like "NO". You can't do that.

Money is an absolute non-issue in this game, especially once you get access to certain items (i.e., the bag that captures animals that you can then sell). You come across so much loot that you can sell it's insane. Not being able to sell potions makes literally 0 difference.

You can. There should be 2 options in the vendors at the top. One to buy and one to sell.

why not try using the potions? while there is only 5 in the game, they are extremely potent - even moreso if you put talents into them.
The red one (Maximum??) that increase spell dmg is like 100% more.

I don't think you can sell potions. You can sell your gear. But not your overflow of potions you don't use.

Sorry... I know you can sell "gear". I just figured I'd be able to sell potions. I figured wrong.

My inventory is also stucked with ingredients and potions, no one will buy them. Think that's a mess and hope modders will take care for that problem.
