Minimap permanently gone (Bug)

A couple days ago, my minimap disappeared and I have no clue why or how. I've tried messing with minimap settings like transparency, nothing. I've tried restarting the game, nothing. I've verified integrity of game files, nothing. I've tried googling to see if anyone else is having this issue but it would seem that according to the internet I'm the luckiest guy playing this game because everyone apparently wants to know how to get rid of their minimap.

Just to confirm.. have you looked in your HUD settings (bottom option on the overall Settings page) and ensured that MiniMap is turned on?

This is a different area than where transparency settings are.

I have no clue how it got turned off, because I didnt even know that setting existed. Thanks!

I've been deep into modding fixing bugs, and getting things perfect, and have not a clue on how it got turned off! I just disabled all my mods in Vortex to try to fix this. Now let's see if life gives me a break when enabling them back with preset settings! lol

The "Free Fly Plus" mod turns off the minimap when you're near Hogsmeade. It should turn back on when you leave but in some situations it fails. If so, ALT-DEL should fix it.

Also UI Core mod or DateTimeHUD mod has a bug causing black screen when opening or exiting the map and minimap disappear. I uninstalled them all to fix the black screen but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how is mininap got turned off. This saved my file I legit thought I’d have to restart a playthrough
