THANKS
I don't see how it's worth it to crank up your graphics to 4k ultra, only to have to upscale from 1440p (or even 1080) to get reasonable FPS.. <insert console gamer joke>
Performance wise DLAA is almost identical to TAA High.
Basically I'm just asking if when I activate DLAA the games look better graphically than when I put DLSS in quality mode. I'm not talking about fluidity or fps quality but about image quality.
So basically DLAA makes games look better than DLSS and even than temporal elevate?
And on the other hand above I am told reshade but there is not this option. As the native resolution I do not see or these.
and also to activate the DLSS you have to deactivate the DLAA so it's not very clear what is said above ^^
I just ask to answer with clear words and right to my questions you have words too complicated for me ^^
If you want true clarity, you'd leave those off.
I think when you say 'look better', you actually mean 'run better'.
If anyone really knows tell me what you think
THANKS
- Use DLSS to get "native-like" image quality, but rendering from a lower resolution. DLSS will give you more FPS because it's using a lower resolution image and upscaling it to your target resolution using the GPU's tensor cores. In a nutshell, use it if you want better performance with acceptable levels of image quality, depending on what you choose (Quality has better image quality, Performance has better performance, etc)
- Use DLAA to apply the same tech behind DLSS, but to the native resolution of the game. In other words, instead of upscaling from a lower resolution, DLAA will use the resolution you choose and apply the AI-powered algorithms that allows DLSS to shine. Better image quality than even DLSS on Quality mode, but worse performance.
My 2 cents: try them all, slap a FPS counter somewhere to check if performance is acceptable, then choose the one you think is the best. You can't rely on someone else's opinion here since image quality and performance combinations are quite subjective.
Most importantly, have fun!
