Gryffindor and slytherins too friendly
Anyone else notice how gryffindors and slytherin students are friendly with each other lol.

Goes against the books and the movies. It’s a minor nuisance but it does get to me.

I kinda agree on the lack of rivalry between Houses, i think it's a missed opportunity

Everybody is friendly. 😟
game misses a lot in terms of roleplay unfortunately. But it's a decent enough action game

This game occurs quite a few years before the books and movies. I would believe not to much bad blood has been built up yet. But I see where you are coming from. Does feel a bit weird being shown how evil Slytherin has been through out the books and films but seeing everyone being all kumbaya when interacting lol

The books and movies aren't relevant here though. This takes place long before the books. Whose to say that they weren't more friendly before and something happened to cause a rift. Also bear in mind the the 4 who founded the school were in fact friends as well. It was only when the issues of muggle born wizards attending and a few other bits, cropped up that they fell apart and old slythy left

Lol, I would say about 1000 years is more than a FEW

Yeah the game takes place in 1890 while the books take place in the early 1990s. 1991 to be precise so you have over 100 years of history that is kind of unknown. Like what caused the houses to have a rivalry for example. Also whose to say that there might be someone who might create Harry Potter prequel series that covers the over 100 years before the 1st book.

100, not 1000

I assuming they didn't want to have to alter how each classmate interacts with the player too much based on their chosen house, since they could be from any of the 4. But in practice it does feel like for the most part, which house someone is it matters just as little to the other school characters as it does to the player.

One thing part of me almost feels is missing from the game so some kind of in school rival. Like the Harry/Draco dynamic. Someone who's just an unconditional A hole to you from the get got.

Hm, yeah, I noticed that, too. But, we haven't had Grindelwald and Voldemort yet. Maybe, the rivalry wasn't that fierce before them.

I prefer it

I always found it weird that the books pushed this narrative that Slytherin BAD Gtyfindor GOOD. I also don't really understand why a school would want to encourage segregation between students to the extreme the source does

Like the notion people in different houses cannot be friends is weird af
