Does 32gb of RAM memory fixes the stutter?
I have good specs, but my RAM memory is just 16 gb. Somebody upgraded from 16 gb to 32 gb and had the stutter fixed? As soon as everything is "loaded" the game runs very smooth to me, but when I'm moving around the castle, it gets some sort of bottleneck and the game runs very bad.

Full specs:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
i7-7700k @4.20 GHz
16 GB RAM

no one would really know with out you posting your full pc specs.

also the game runs a benchmark, its recommended to use the benchmark settings.

if your still having issuses, lowering settings for shadows/fog always helps.

Hi, i did 2 things that helped for me,
I was wanted to upgrade to 32 and this game was running horrible for me.
I got an extra 16 gb of ram (32 total now) and i cleared my shader cache in Nvidia.
i got it running without stutters, framerate still ♥♥♥♥ sometimes but also better. so i would say go for it...more games are asking for 32 nowadays. if you do upgrade, let me know if it worked out for you

My other specs don't matter because the game is running fine, as I've described, I have zero issues even with RTX on. I know the problem is on my RAM memory because I can see the bottleneck there in the graphs. But I don't want to upgrade my RAM to 32gb and still see the bottleneck there.

Anyway, in case you want to know my specs:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
i7-7700k @4.20 GHz
16 GB RAM

not gonna fix stutters , i have 32 gb of ram i9-9900k and rtx 3080 everything overclocked and still get stutters while textures are streaming.

Damn... :/ Seems like a potential optimization issue then

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
32 GB RAM
Windows 11
I use the benchmark settings atm (everything on high + raytracing off)

It stutters in Hogwarts and Hogsmeade :/

Yes. I have no stutter with 32 GB RAM so far. Using medium textures. And a changed DLSS dll. (V2.51)

This doesn't totally fix the stutter, but it should reduce it, give it a try: https://www.reddit.com/r/HarryPotterGame/comments/10zeh67/pc_performance_tips_this_got_rid_of_low_fps_dips/

Curious if you noticed your ram getting maxed out?

sounds like you have issues with your system somewhere that is stealing resources from the game. i would look into anything eating up cpu/gpu resources while the game is running as that can have negative effects on it. also memory speed also matters as well. another thing to check is if your system is aggressively trying to use power saving features as that can cause bad cpu spikes that can cause games to stutter at times.

No. I have a 32 gb ram and it still stutters

32GB here and had huge stutter issues..

this fixed it (surprisingly):

Not for me, I have 64gb of ram and my game STILL gets frequent memory leaks.

if you are using a controller with the microsoft wireless adapter, try connecting the controller with a cable and deplug the wireless adapter, this fixed the problem for me
