AppData is hidden so click view up top and select hidden items if needed.

Open Engine.ini in text editor and add this to the end below everything else:

[SystemSettings]
r.bForceCPUAccessToGPUSkinVerts=True
r.GTSyncType=1
r.OneFrameThreadLag=1
r.FinishCurrentFrame=0
r.TextureStreaming=1
r.Streaming.PoolSize=3072
r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1

[ConsoleVariables]
AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdates=1
AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdatesDuringGamethreadUpdates=1
AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdatesEditor=1
This actually boosted my FPS by about 20 or so thx
Still dips but with the boost the stuttering is minimal now, still there but tolerable

It's hilarious when people have such bad hardware, they think they can put everything on medium Max, and then cries for optimization. Classic.

since when a 3060 is bad? I have one and I play every game with +60 fps, exept for hogwarts and yes including cyberpunk, RT off ofc

1st everyone who makes a comment like this should give at minimum 5000$ of their personal money to provide new PC for the OP of the topic....
That would be communism. He can pay for his own stuff.

PC requirements for 1080p / 60 fps is a GTX 1080 Ti. RTX 3060 is a slower GPU.

I think it helped, yeah. earlier I was getting severe drops in the overworld (not in hogsmeade tho) and now they're rarer and less impactful.

the only one you probably actually need is "r.Streaming.PoolSize". I've explained in the previous page how to set it properly. you shouldn't put that "3072" value randomly regardless of your GPU's memory. put the right value. again, I've explained it in the previous page, and I've linked the reddit post that says that most of these settings are already the defaults in the game.

Just saying, making game file changes to improve performance isn't going change the fact that the game is poorly optimized.

I'm not sure whats wrong with his pc. I get more than 80 frames at 4k ultra with 4090/13900k with rtx on

i have a ryzen 9 3900x, 128 gig ram, RTX 2070(8 gig), the game is on my main M2 drive, and best i can get is high without ray tracing. even on low ray tracing, my graphics turn to spider webs and spaghetti within 15 minutes. also have to have motion blur off or i never load in proper. i know i am not exacly cutting edge, but i should at LEAST be able to handle ray tracing on LOW setting. sure this game takes a powerful computer, but c'mon. there has to be some middle ground of computer needs upgrade and graphics need optimization. or at bare minimum have the run benchmark option turn off things like motion blur and ray tracing if a computer is found to not be capable of handling the features properly. {ETA] also max framerate i have ever hit, according to Razer Cortex is 52 FPS

Would you be willing to upload a video of that? If you do, be sure to include settings showing it's on ultra. I'd also be interested in seeing how well your rig performs while in Hogsmeade.

this works a bit but it still stutters like trash

I have a better pc, perfect for gaming and the perfomance is trash. Stop making that trolls comments when if u read some threads u already know there´s a lot of people with perfomance problemas including that ones with rtx4090.
