It's one of those stupid unoptimized implementations that also eat a mound of vram
But yea, it looks great ofc
Though even Cyberpunk 2077 is easier to run with RT
That's some hardcore cope
But there is also a bug which makes a strange lag over 30 fps with RT ON in some scenery, basically 50 fps will feel like 25 fps, kind of frame skipping micro lag with low GPU usage its weird, very noticeable in Hogsmeade, if i cap the fps to 30 the lag is gone, something they need to fix.
other then that the game runs very well with RT Off, capping my screen hz at 160 in Hogsmeade, so there is no CPU bottleneck.
But RT helps that in a lot of areas. Stained glass lighting peering through, light bleeds more naturally, and all that. Not worth it for everyone, but it's pretty much the only game I've kept RT on in a long while.
The inclusion of RT in this game so far is terrible. Go look at what RTGI and RTAO did to Witcher 3.
ON
I even use the engine.ini tweak for enhanced RT very nice
I am honestly amazed that I average CP2077 @4k60 - 51fps - RT Ultra DLSS Quality! Who the hell knows what they've done to make it perform this poorly?
