Already level 16 when I unlocked Talents
I had 12 talent points to spent. Seems weird and I wasn't grinding. And the game only has 40 level. Is it unbalanced? Am I supposed to only play main story until a certain point to give them some more sense?

It was about the same for me when I unlocked Talents. I mostly just do all the relationship type quests and then a main or 2 and then repeat.

You're fine. I was lv 20+ when I unlocked talents and I wasn't even grinding...

Just a little overzealous in revealing stuff.

XP is tied to collectables, not grinding. You must of picked up a lot of pages along the way.

Ok, great. But it seems funny, because they explictly state that talent points unlock at level 5.
It is weird.

i was easily 20 when i finally unlocked talents, so theres only 40 levels is that enough to max out the skillz trees? I refuse to put talent point into anything until i can max em all out! currently lvl 31....

As far as I know, you can't take all talents in one playthrough. But I might be wrong, I read it somewhere here on the forum.

Almost 30 before I unlocked talents.

I heard/read anything between 32 and 36 max Sill Points. So you cannot max your Char out in every Skilltree.

They just mean that is the minimum level required for Talents to unlock, and from that level you gain 1 pt each level up - which is cumulatively given if you reach/do that Main Quest point at a higher level.

From what I can see/tell, most if not all game abilities/features actually unlock with Main Quests or Assignments and other such. So you could probably be pretty high level before unlocking many of those if you decided to ignore it all and roam the whole map and just got all "Pages" you found, or randomly got some combat or other challenges completed etc.

So if you want certain game features/abilities you know about as fast as possible, concentrate on mostly Main Quests initially until you have them.. But there is no "wrong" way. Do what is fun for you. :steamhappy:
