My ingame textures looks blurry in every quality except in Ultra.

This is my first time making this kind of posts. Like title says Im having troubles with textures I will add pictures to show what im talking about.

Edit: this happens only when im in game, because in menu game textures looks perfectly fine even un Low textures.

The game runs normally like this with textures from Low to High

This shouldnt be this way, rigth? not from Low to High looking exactly the same except when i set it to Ultra.

I don´t suffer stuttering of any way, or fps drops, this doesnt happens with any other game (only when i played Grounded which every time i load a savegame after 2 second textures become blurry this same way)... I can even run Cyberpunk with no issues.

I have a Gtx 1050, my processor its amd fx 6300 Vishera, 16gb ram ddr3.

Just need textures look normal xD

By now I use "-dx10" as parameter, and looks like i can play with Ultra textures without lossing too much fps.

I have your same problem :')
I don't know which is the problem because if I use a old PC I can see the texture very well even if I set High. My new PC game (legion y530-15ich) has your problem. The high texture is the same as the low texture. When I'll figure out the problem, I'll tell you :)

I have the same problem and i was playing with textures in ultra but now after today's update even in ultra textures don't load

I tried everything but it seems that nothing works :(
I read that we have to report the problem and wait an update that will fix it..
Now they did an update which made the problem worse but at least it means they are trying to resolve it

I have good news! Finnally solved it! I will explain my whole steps:

1. I had "-dx10" on Launch Parameters. I delete that.
2. Opened the game, back textures to Medium
3. Leave the game.
4. Open CMD as Administrator. In there I type:

fsutil behavior query memoryusage

Then

fsutil behavior set memoryusage 2

And finally:

bcdedit /set increaseuserva 8000

5. Restart PC.

6. Open the game and keep keep forgetting that JK its a Terf.

Tell me if this Solves the problem, so i can give this as solution. Good Look everyone.

Hola, podrias explicar paso a paso como lo habias arreglado, no entiendo de informatica demasiado.
Tengo el mismo problema que tu, pero durante un tiempo estuve jugando con calidad Alta y de repente las texturas se bugearon.

Don't bother with people commenting on your PC specs. I'm running on a very high-end built PC and I can confirm the faces and what you described look like paper. I no longer see any moles or freckles on faces or any other details. Many people have this issue, as it has been reported on numerous threads, while others don't, just as people that have 0 issues with the game while for others is literally unplayable. Atm the game is a hot mess. There is no fix except when devs will release a new patch.

The command

/bcdedit set increaseuserva

is placebo, it only work on 32-bit apps and the value must be between 2048 (2 GB) and 3072 (3 GB) as explained here [learn.microsoft.com]:

Specifies the amount of memory, in megabytes, for user-mode virtual address space.

On 32-bit editions of Windows, applications have 4 gigabyte (GB) of virtual address space available. The virtual address space is divided so that 2 GB is available to the application and the other 2 GB is available only to the system.

The 4-gigabyte tuning feature, enabled with the increaseuserva option, allows you to increase the virtual address space that is available to the application up to 3 GB, which reduces the amount available to the system to between 1 and 2 GB. The BCEdit /set increaseuserva Megabytes command can specify any value between 2048 (2 GB) and 3072 (3 GB) megabytes in decimal notation.
