they are slow with the fixes. i don't think they are going to fix this any time soon
i did all that and more and didn't solve my problem. i tried for hours.

I kept trying this method and got it to work now, took a few tries. I didn't need to use depulso, just had to be close enough to the cage to grab it with accio. I also cleared a path to run prior so I didn't have any enemies bother me. @Sacred, thank you for this work around
i did it thanks to you @[9]Spectre and @Sacred. i cleared the small bandit camp in the north then came back stood in front of cage all in very close and i spam Accio until i grabbed it then raise it so the character automatically cast Wingardium Leviosa them moved the cube to the right back corner of the cage then raise it up and start walking backward to the other bandit camp and went down the path and the cube just flew towards me i stood still until it come close then went back and put the cube in its place without breaking the spell. and that's it thanks all.
this is one of the crazier fixes I've seen for a bug, but I followed precisely as you laid it out, and I got the cube to come to me.
