I don't think that would work here. The issue for me was caused because I found this camp before even starting the quest and had already removed the padlock. So when doing the quest, the cage door was shut but no padlock to remove so was stuck shut. Result of poor programming not allowing for explorers to interrupt expected flow. The cage should of spawned after starting mission instead of being there all along in my opinion.

Thing is, we shouldn't have to download some third party software (probely containing malware) to fix a few bugs for a whole new game.

i will wait for a offical fix and kudos to the guy in the video fixing it, but i see it as a wrong way of doing it.

It's really not that much work and it worked perfectly, I'm not waiting a couple days/weeks/months for such a simple fix, thanks to the one who made the video and the person that posted it here!
