Chest locked forever

If you have full inventory and you try to open a chest you wouldn't get an item and you couldn't open this chest any more

you have to leave the area and then return, when you return make sure you actually have space otherwise you won't get any loot and you'll have to repeat the process..

Save and reload. I've had this happen a few times.

? ive never had this happen. if my gear slots are full i just delete an item or 2 then open the chest again. you never had to leave the area.

Oh, good thing the problem doesn't actually exist since you've never experienced it.

This has happened to me only once fortunately, but yes now I make sure you make space just in case.

Not all the time. I've had plenty of chests I can get stuff from after I destroy something. I've had a couple that lose the item tho.

Yes. This happen all the time with the big chest with animation.

They're never one-of-kind items. You're not missing out.

I've head chests that I can loot multiple times including the Eye chests with 500G inside.

You can leave the area and then come back and the chest should reset if you weren't able to get the loot the first time.

This is exactly the experience I had with the "problem". Free space and you're good to go. Don't act as it's a game breaking bug for everyone playing the game. How about reporting your problem with the game on the official support forum? What exactly is your problem? I had an issue with a chest that want open wherever I did. It isn’t exactly a game breaking bug, but it’s pretty big one. I posted here because it was the easiest and more convenient place to post. I just wanted to know if any other user had any similar issues and if they had any possible solutions.
