100% wait until it goes on sale. This is not a game worth $70. It's stiff and lacking in refinement. I have refunded it after buying the Deluxe version and I wouldn't consider buying again for anything more than 30 dollars. I'm convinced the people praising it are just Harry Potter fanatics huffing magic farts. I'm not a huge HP fan but bought it because it was getting great reviews and I was extremely disappointed.

Wait later its all kinds of buggy atm and some are experiencing launch crashes. I bought it a week before it came out and still can't play because of the crashes. Honestly wait a few weeks/months before getting It is my opinion.

If you like the genre and you have the money to spend, buy it now. The game is very good, though performance can be laggy at times - usually in cutscene conversations for me, where it dropped to 30fps.

Game's not going anywhere. Get it now, or later when things have been patched and whatnot.

It's good. I have not had any crashes or stutters or any of the other stuff people are complaining about. This game runs great. I've run it for 10-14 hours per session, no problems at all.

As for how good it is?> It's quite good. Very enjoyable. I'd say it's worth the money.

The one bonus to waiting will be for mods. The community is making quite a few mods for the game that will make it better.

I'm running high @ 1080p with a rtx 3060ti and im eperiencing stuttering. It will take a while for this game to be playable and patched up....i had to wait 2 hours yesterday because i kept crashing. Auto-fixed later.
I have 1070 and i7 8700k so probably the game will run pretty bad for me.

If you want to play with raytracing, then wait. If you don't mind playing without it, buy it.

have a 1080 that works great on mostly high settings myself
however im also playing on 1080p and dont intend to upgrade to 4k anytime soon because of it because i understand the limitations of my machine

Wait for it bro. I have played this game for 33 hours aprox. Game runs decent. It stutters but still playable. If i were you i would wait for the devs patch this game.

Buy it and play it. See if you have performance issues and if so refund it. You can look through the threads and see some people have performance issues and some don't. Not to be rude but I don't see the need of a thread for this

the game is throttling atm, older cards give good performance, and the newer cards are gonna chunk because of it. GOTY honestly. Ive been very impressed with the level of detail and effort put into the game, it has been a love letter to harry potter fans and fans of the wizarding world.

I have the same and the game crashes every 15 minutes on their recommended settings but if you put most of the settings on low you wont crash as much, the longest for me without crashing on those settings was 5 hours so...

Buy it now. The game isn't in a Cyberpunk state. It's fit for purpose and is genuinely a fun game
