Game unplayable after Professor Weasley introduces me to Floo Flames? I cannot press any button and im completely stuck on this screen unless I close game, but get stuck here once again, pressing any button doesnt work

Same problem here.......tried altering graphics, running as admin, checking file integrity. Game tells me to open map by the first floo flame and then freezes......characters freeze but the yellow quest marker is still animated. Grateful for any suggestion how to resolve this

Yeah I still have background animations but still no fix found for me, I will update if I find one

Same problem here. Game just freezes when Prof. Weasley want to show me something.
And when I restart the game it freezes again in the second that the game is loaded.
Mostly the game will not even start, but freez in the shader loading screen.

that's very early in the game to be honest you could re-create your character and get caught back up to that point in no time at all. that's what I'd do.. just make a new character

it happens on every character, every house. tried re-installed and exactly the same

Yes I re-installed and set all setiings on low and the lowest resolution in a window. So it cannot be performance related. It must be a bug. Can someone please fix it?

i raised a ticket over a week ago anf just get automated responses...i paid for early access and i never got to use any of it lol

SOLUTION: After some thinking I noticed that the game wasn't hanging at all. The music and background animation was still playing. It only did not except my key-pressed for the map. And than it hit me. Maybe some programmer had hard-coded M for putting up the map? So the tutorial got stuck when you have remapped the key for putting up the map. So I restored the original keys (default) and BINGO the game progresses easy. Afterwards I restored my alternate keybindings. Hope this solutions works for you guys too?

Sadly I was only expecting the game to hang at that scene. But actually I had to press a key and coudn't do anything until I pressed that key.
I had to fix so many bugs for this game before that I was just pretty sure that this is another bug! Lol
