Main quest Lodgok NPC bugged - cannot progress

In the quest The Helm of Urtkot, I am supposed to talk to Lodgok and then follow him out of Hogsmeade into the witch's tomb. But the goblin doesn't move to the new location, he just sits at the table, uninteractable, with the quest marker kinda on top of him. This is gamebraking for me - I can't progress the story. I don't have any saves from before accepting this quest to load. Doing side stuff and going through loading/game state changes doesn't help.
Anyone knows what to do about it?

I also had the same quest progress issue.

There is no way to solve it, and it seems that the developer has not recognized it yet.

I deleted the save file that had been in progress for 20 hours and started anew.

i simply did save and load which fixed it.

I have the same, save and load didn't help, seems I can't progress through the main story anymore.

So, no solution? I an just ffed and need to start again and hope it isnt glitched?

Hopefully if enough people make the bug known, the issue is fixed as soon as possible.

Okay, if you are still in Hog's Head or waiting for the goblin to go on, he told me to gather my things and meet him at the tomb. He actually met me at the edge of town closest to the tomb. So maybe just go do something to get rid of gear or get potions and come back.

Good to know this is what I have to look forward to once I get past the bugged first trial I've been stuck on for 3 days..
