Makes sense as he was a dimwit with it.
Accidently making Harry a Horcrux. ^^
A paid mod? Enough with that nonsense.
He's not, lorewise, otherwise he wouldn't have been taught by a professor how to do it.
A theory is that immortality may get boring after a while and he wanted the horcruxes nearby so he could destroy them if/when that occured.
Please read the 3 lines under the Youtube link.
Say you have one in your inventory, then. It gets destroyed upon what would look like your character's death and then your life replenishes to 100%. That'd be a neat mod.
Easy game mode? Possibly. But if you give a ♥♥♥♥ how others play their singleplayer games, you have issues.
Could barely make out what you mean, this is/should be optional, im not telling anyone how to play their game, just recommending a game path that should be optional, I don't know how this pissed you off.
On the wider lore not so much because it's mentioned that the creation of a single Horcrux is so disgusting and taboo that even those who practice the darkest of the dark arts find it completely revolting to even think about creating one.
To note, there are only two recorded person throughout the entire history of the Wizarding World who ever successfully created Horcrux. One being Herpo the Foul and the other being Tom Riddle/Voldemort. Herpo manage to create one, while Voldemort made seven and is the only known person to have created more than one Horcrux.
