Xbox Controller issues?

Anyone else have controller issues?

Put 6hrs into the game with no issues.

Went to play this evening and the A button works in the Hogwarts splash screen, but does not in the main menu, Y button and B button work.

Started my saved game with mouse and found the A button works in game for jumping and such but does not work in menus at all. Very strange.

Tried a 2nd controller, same thing. Tried wired and Bluetooth, same. Verified game files, no change. Reinstalled, no change.

Anyone else run into this?

Yeah, but it haven't caused any concern, since everything is fine ingame.

Kinda sucks for me to use my mouse just in menus when I'm gaming on my couch covered in cheeto dust. Lol

Xbox elite controller here works like a champ

Same issue just appeared for me. Other threads made tons of suggestions on what to do, if the controller in general doesn't work, but one of the solutions stood out to me and acutally did the trick:
In the settings of the game in Steam, go for the controller tab and deactivate all Steam-side support/input.
A button did just work fine again after this change.
Good luck, that this workaround will also work on your end.

9h with standard Xbox controller (not sure if One X, Series X or whatnot, but fairly new, not elite), no issues at all.
