i use a 3070 and an i5 10600k .. 1440p/ High preset without DLSS or RT.

You should be able to run the same settings, yes it bogs down occasionally but its only for a few seconds while its loading textures into the ram or whatever its doing.

How much RAM do you have? I have 16 gigabytes, so I think maybe that's the point?

I'm running the exact same GPU. Just turning off Ray Tracing in the game solved my stuttering and FPS cratering.

Good luck!!!

I'm using 32gb 3500 ddr4 ..

Yes i think that is contributing to your issue, 32 is the recommended now days if you want to avoid these issues. I would definately get another 16gb stick for your pc.

Playing with same setup in 1080p ultra RT off , every new area is like a 5-10 secs 20fps slowdown, it gets better after like 30-45 mins of playing.

bruh tell us your ramm. Likely your fps stuttering is due to ram. It claims 16gb is recommended but if you play on ultra you need more than 16 in a ton of cases.

I play on high, but even here it seems that 16 gigabytes is not enough)))

Yes, apparently now I'll go for a new RAM.:steammocking:

It's a VRAM issue. You can reduce it by turning RTX off and reducing draw distance.
Chris Feb 11, 2023 @ 11:12pm
But he's only playing at 1080p .. the 8gb of vram on the 3070 is sufficient here

He should track his VRAM usage then. If it maxes out, his settings are too high.

Yeah i guess, i play at 1440p with minimal issues.. i would assume 1080p would be a walk in the park, but i dont know what settings he is trying to run .. i use the recommended which is (High) without RT

Generally to get the best performance you should just use the recommended settings.
