Warzone really keeps the high-res draw-distances short. They do some other poly-and-texture tricks. Simply put, you're not getting the same quality or depth of detail.
Look at the walls in Hogwarts. All those pictures, many of them animated, the detailing. It's phenomanal. Warzone... It's shooter graphics. Very second-tier. There's almost no detail until you're really close, the walls are most empty and repeating the same few textures (just look at the plywood they put every where, it's the same texture for all of it as far as I can tell).
No, they run about the same. And I never had a problem with Cyberpunk. Or Witcher III. Or any of the other games that turn into the typical "I have a toaster, why does this game not run' fests.
I remember when Morrowind was doing that to me. I had to upgrade to a GeForce 4. Then it was spectacular (for its day). But that's when I learned my lesson about being cheap and blaming the game for my behind-the-curve problems.
So something weird happened. I was trying to figure out why I was getting crazy frame drops. I'm running the flowing:
3080 TI
32GB of RAM
-Too lazy to look up processor but it's a decent intel 1200 cocket series
Game is installed in NVME
Last few days was running with Lag, but then out of nowhere when I stated casting spells it would drop down to 4-6fps. I was so confused because it only dropped down whenever I casted spells.
Then I put the controller down and I accidentally pressed my left mouse button. The spell cast with no issues what so ever.
I turned off my controller and started using Mouse and Keyboard only. ALL of my frame drops disappeared. Now I am running at a steady 80fps + and around 60fps in heavily populated areas.
Try it out! Just turn off your controller and use mouse and keyboard only and see if that does the trick!
