Game crashing going down restricted section mission

So game crashes during mission sneaking into library going down the restricted section stairs. Any fixes? Computer well above the requirements to run this game.

yes i jumped over the staircase railing on top floor so i would land on the very bottom step and bypass walking on the staircase at all. When i reached the bottom game stuttered a bit but loaded the basement floor of the restricted section.

Tried doing that but the game still crashed for me. I've logged a bug with WBsupport, guess I have to wait and see what happens now.

i still have game start crash.. sometimes i get it to go ingame move 2 stapps 1 spell crash

With the new patch crashed has increased even in a trolls respawns or some random places on map. First time I completed the game I have 0 crashes and now Is like 1 or 2 per day.

its 3 days ago and 5235.356835³ flames later patch came.. when comes the fix for this depatch ..

Have you tried multiple times it took me a couple tries to get it to work for me.

Alright, managed to get it fixed. Seems like all it took was for me to verify the game files and the next time I loaded the game this crash no longer occurred. Can't believe I didn't do this in the first place, I usually always verify game files after each update, but live and learn I guess.

Hello,I am with a problem on that mission too.
I was supposed to walk into Sebastian for him to teach me the Desilusionment spell
But never happens..
Also the cutscene never happens too.
He just walks into me!!!

A message appears: " your companion will appear for you after the mission "


But I had no mods!.
No companion mod.
I removed them.

It skips for me to enter the library

Turn off "Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling" it works 100% on RTX40,
but "DLSS 3.0 Frame Generation" becomes unavailable.
