Vignette effect

Is there a way to remove the vignette effect?
It makes the screen way too dark for my taste and I can't seem to find an option
I even tried to look at the config files but didn't find anything

It helps a little, but brightness and vignette effect aren't the same, the edges of the screen are still darker than the rest, that's what's annoying, not the overall darkness
