Why is it so boring?

I couldnt get myself past the part where i needed to cast spells at balls to make them come closer and score points.. why? And 90% of the gameplay untill that point was cutscenes and dialogue..

EDIT:
I forgot to say I also ate an apple , petted a cat and followed some dotted lines on the mini map. Oh, and the NPC's were so immersed that they didn't even bother to interact. So nice

Its not because "someone doesnt like the game"

Problem with that is that OP quits 30min in.

With that mindset OP would have ran out of the first harry potter movie since no magic happened for 30mins.

ngl it was boring at first but it gets interesting when progress through the game

I think amongst the dismissive tone of the OP, there is a point.

Last year's GOTY of the action-RPG genre was Elden Ring, a game which is completely different in it's initial introduction which is lightning quick. Then it's basically "there's your world - go explore". In Hogwarts Legacy the tutorial is a number of hours long.

Expectations.

I found it as fun as Elden Ring was, if not better, and I'm a souls type of gamer. My guess is you just didn't gave it enough time, it's your right and your choice.

And I think that being fan of HP universe is still necessary to really enjoy all the details of the world here.
