PC> Not right now
Console> Maybe yes.
Why? Well currently PC chads are experiencing issues at least a certain % of us are including me.
Console chads haven't been vocal about their performance with the game so I will assume it runs fine on console.
So if you are on PC and you have under the recommended settings I suggest waiting for optimization updates because your game will have massive FPS drops all around.
EDIT: The game itself is amazing in my opinion. It's got a lot of little details and hidden areas to explore later on, definitely worth the try but also do avoid the steam discussions for now as people still try to spoil the story and ending as I have had done for me.
So I suggest
1. Avoiding any discussions on steam for now unless you want to get spoiled
and
2. if you have a beast of a PC then yes, you should buy it (So long as you have the money for it and not risk your livelyhood)
Note: I say this because the comments I've seen from people complaining have been from nvidia users and I have an amd card. That's hardly scientific.
That being said, I'm enjoying the hell out of it, and I'm only a moderate potter fan.
But I like this game and I never felt bored so far in my 20 something hours of playing. There are a few things I would enjoy such as maybe if they added seasons as the story progresses. But that is just my own personal wishes. I'd love to see a snowy version of Hogsward and Hogsmeade.
Don't know about you but I'd much rather have games like this rather than WH darktide which launched with even worse issues and has a major cut in terms of content.
Or other triple A games that released lately and have been massively overpriced and delivered very little.
Everyone has tastes, at least respect people's decision.
