Wingardium Leviosa Broken
Is anyone else having the problem where QEFV do nothing at all while casting Wingardium Leviosa? Noticed it when I needed it for a Merlin Trial. Tried to plug in a controller and rebind the keys, neither attempt worked. Anyone else have any ideas as to what could fix it?

You cast the spell, and after its cast and you have what you want to move controlled, that's when you use the keys. just remember that some things like floating slabs need the other spell to work

Is this concerning adjusting the block on top of a pillar so that the symbols match? You use Flipendo to do that one, just flip from the different sides. I have had no serious issues using QEFV

Ahhhhh, ok. Thanks for the hint, I was so dead certain that I had tried all the other spells. Thank you very much! :D

It was interesting to see the spin using the number keys. The problem I have is that I am in 2024, and when I use Wingardium Leviosa - if work to jump on the levitated object, it falls down rather than staying levitated.

This makes the quest to gain Highwing - The High Keep Quest; impossible to finish. Yes I've tried the afformentioned keys and X-Box compatible game pad - I am using Windows /w Steam.

See the last point in #2 of the following walkthrough:

"Cast Levioso on the crate to make it float in place. Climb the crate while it's in midair to reach the opening on the battlement."

Yah, if only that was truly happening.

I've had problems with wingardium on a few Merlin trials. If I saved, exited and reloaded the problem would be resolved.

Wingardium Leviosa is a different spell from Levioso. Wingardium Leviosa is a light blue color in your spell list and lets you have finer control of movements, but it drops the object as soon as you're done using it. Levioso is a yellow color in the spell list and that's the one that will let a crate stay floating so you can climb it.

I'm having trouble on the introduction of levioso, none of my keys work (Nintendo Switch) it's supposed to be B but it doesn't work

Different spell than this post.
You need Flipendo for those Merlin Trials.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
