Casting Accio after unlocking Wingardium Leviosa

I've just tried catching one of those flying books after unlocking Wingardium Leviosa, and now instead of having the book fly into my hand, my stupid character casts Wingardium Leviosa right after and the book just floats in front of me.

How do you pick up these books after unlocking WL?

PS: I AM NOT HOLDING DOWN THE BUTTONS

I'm playing with KbM myself and have noticed that it will sometimes cast Leviosa instead of Accio. But it has only occured like 1 or 2 times in hours of gameplay.

Sounds like it might ba a hardware issue... Try clearing out your keyboard of nacho dust, it may be registering longer clicks than intended.

Sounds like it might ba a hardware issue... Try clearing out your keyboard of nacho dust, it may be registering longer clicks than intended.

Just checked and it's clean, plus it happens on any of the slots, not just one.

Have this issue too.. Can't erect the bone-stairs in some dungeons.. :(

Casting Accio on the bones with one short tip on the button and it casts Wingardium Leviosa.

be sure that you arent changing your camera angle while pulling the object in. If you do change the angle, it seems that the game thinks you want to move the object more effectively so it changes it to the correct spell for such applications.

If you're playing with Kb+M, moving the mouse up/down, even if just just a little, after casting Accio will make the character cast Wingardium Leviosa. It's really annoying.

You have to click on the house you want. I thought it was but colors but it's the numbers at the bottom. Once you do that you can post.

I had this issue. I realized later you have to release the spell close to the pole that triggers it or close to where it needs to be to get it working.

I was just holding it there but you have to release it.

I can't add to the immediate issue, I can only report if I accidentally hit the Leviosa spell and then follow with Accio, the Wingardium Leviosa part is bugged (can't lift or drop) and I must release and recast correctly.

were there ever ANY need to be such a doochenozzle? If you don't have a problem. it doesn't mean others don't have it. You are not a benchmark of how game works.
And in regards to topic I have actually opposite problem. I can't control the item when it is in the air. When I try to cast wingardium it does nothing. When I do accio it just tethers item to a character making it float behind my character, but I am unable to move it higher/lower/closer/further.
I am using KB+ mouse and because of this problem stuck at first Rekhem's challenge. Moment right after I defeat 2 knights . Second fight after 3 knight fight.

It is because you have a talent for accio that translates acio to accio+short form wingardium leviosa. But books/flying pages/accio tournament should work just fine like before. Also in rest accio+short form wingardium leviosa is better than simply accio. Weird problem.
