Helm of Urtkot quest not progressing

Talk to the troll and ask to meet him on the outskirts of town

He sits alone in a chair and does not move, and the direction of the quest is fixed to the tavern.

nothing is going

I have all the skills needed for the quest, but I can't progress

patch is urgent

I'm sure it's a fun game, but I can't start the game from scratch because of this problem.

yeah, same issue. sucks because its part of the main quest

Same issue here, 23h of gameplay down the drain, :(

I have the same problem.
Lodgok the goblin is sitting in the hog's head, the quest marker is on the hog's head.
I cannot interact with him.
I even looked up a walkthrough which gave the location of the next waypoint, the Collectors cave.
Visited that and Lodgok is not there.
So it looks like this quest is bugged and cannot be progressed.

If I were to guess at the root cause; if you don't follow Lodgok immediately the quest bugs out.
I do not like being dragged through a quest line and have my own agenda.
I probably went off and did some side quests, brew some potions etc.

I am at 30 hours.
Whilst I wait for the main quest line to be fixed I'll follow the side quests.

Patch when please? :0)
