How do you pick object up using accio ?

i can only drag them around but ive seen videos that accio can pick up object. how do i do that

You can pull smaller objects and floating platforms. Maybe you're thinking about casting leviosa first and then doing accio?

Or are you talking about collecting items using accio?

You need the Wingardium Leviosa spell to "pick up" stuff. You get this spell later on in the game through finishing one of the classes.
