I think we will see a performance patch to address some of these issues in the near future. It isn't unplayable though and overall the game is actually really good imo
Most of the stutter issue are in highly populated open areas, i.e. Hogsmeade.
I have not experienced any crashes and I am maintaining 60 fps.
Yeah it's smooth in Linux land.
DLSS is the saving grace for me
im running a 9900k and a 2080ti
32 gb ram
Makes me wonder if this is one of those games that would one again benefit from DXVK.
Edit: Nevermind this is a DX12 title.
Yeah this strikes me as an odd complaint with all the other performance issues. Zero tearing personally but everyone's system is different I guess
I think RADV_PERFTEST=gpl works to smooth out the frametimes in VKD3D. I didn't think it did but tried it anyways and things got a lot smoother.
Honestly you should be fine if you are realistic with the settings appropriate for your hardware. It is a really good game and worth having to perhaps mess around a bit with settings if it gets too choppy here and there
Unfortunately, I don't want to remove all components from my PC, so I'll just have to wait for the day1 patch and hope things are better.
