What gears to keep and what to sell?

Some say you should sell everything but sometimes legendary items have bad offence and superb and well-appointed give you better stats

I haven't seen any reason not to just sell everything. You unlock the cosmetic appearance anyways, and you'll find higher level/better gear anyways.

Sell everything until you reach the level cap and then keep whatever Legendary gear you find that's giving you the most protection and slots I guess, that's how I've been looking at it. Once I learned everything you pick up is automatically transmog free whenever you like, it's been open season on everything I pick up.

Game hasn't challenged me enough to care about minmaxing gear stat bonuses yet, anyway.

Level 20+ there may be some situations where you may prefer a trait over a slightly higher stat, but when those things happen you'll know. At any other time, just equip the gear with highest number and transmog it, sell everything else to clear up gear slots.

I just sell anything that has less stats than what I have on. I see no reason to keep worse gear when I'm constantly getting better stuff. Plus I always need money so...
