I wouldn't be surprised.
Get a better rig clown
inside outside. i also overrode RT to 100 instead of 33 through ini (percent values) - reflections look MUCH better
it absolutely does tho
please refrain from doing so...
I gather your intention may be 'good' (trying to help others etc)
regarding variation in textures.. sometimes it is the fidelity of their colour values that vary... (no obvious difference in 'light' effects passes situations..
For users on 10bit colour 'reference' panels, who may even be playing with High Dynamic Range.. benefits can come with 'more colour fidelity'.
generally might lead to less banding or noise in heavy 'multiple effects' stacked areas..
or if lots of alpha channel (think Fog and 'missile smoke trails' (not in THIS title obviously)) layered areas.. (absolute values might be more 'accurate' on the more extremely tuned colour fidelity textures.)
just trying to imply that textures are no longer 'always' about the resolution of the asset but might be to do with the 'how heavily compressed' the graphic becomes.
