Why is the graphic so bad?
I have an Intel Core i7-8700 and a GTX 1060, ofcourse i do not expect to play the game on ultra but high or even normal should be possible.
Yet, it is telling me i should put everything on low.

No matter what I do even if i put the game on ultra it doesn't really look good.
Is this some early access problem that will be fixed or what is wrong here?

Edit: The Reason i mention witcher 3 is because beside it being an old game it looks super good, I checked HL and even on Ultra on Screenshots or Videos it just does not look good.
So, might not even be a hardware issue.

I could even play Witcher on Ultra so that should not be the problem

yeah it looks terrible on my windows 95 intel 0.07 core 5mb ram pc. I don't expect to play the game on ultra but high or even normal should be possible

Your graphics card is like a decade old, likely not performing anywhere near its original specs even. I have a laptop on a shelf somewhere that's like 8 years old with a better GPU. You didn't even bother posting your ram so you likely have several bottlenecks you don't understand. Are you using an NVME, an SSD or a hard drive? Do you have 407 chrome tabs open?

This is a very graphically dense game, it's not going to run well on a subpar PC and you shouldn't expect it to. Maybe get an xbox lol. At least then you won't be in charge of understanding hardware limitations.

Turn off DLSS and set antialiasing to high. And everything else to ultra. RT off.

I have an i9 9900k with a 3070 and run around 90-100 FPS at best on all high and no ray tracing. So I think you're expecting too much out of old hardware at this point to think you're going to run high or ultra and have good performance.

I confirm on ultra settings (fullhd tho, still) the graphics is not that great
You can check it in my screenshots lol

yeah I have a 3060 TI and it's insufficient for ray tracing properly much less ultra settings. it's all about your GPU bro.

two very different games on very different engines. This game on pc runs worse than it should on most machines. It doesn't seem to be fully utilizing anyones GPU. My wife plays this on PS5 on the Balanced setting and it looks better than my RTX3080 on ultra... it just be like that. Patches should be coming soon.

RT off, native res with DLAA. No way the PS5 looks better than that.

Well, then atleast i should be able to see good graphics if i put everything to ultra or high, right? But not even that happens it jus stays overall really bad

Trying to set it to ultra with specs like that won't make it look better, lol.
