BUG: Map not showing floo flame locations and can't progress game after first hogsmead visit

I have just left the three broomsticks for the first time and the instructions are to use the map to fast travel to your common room.

But the hogwarts map doesn't show any floo locations from any of the area. There are non of the flame icons to click on, or any other icons for that matter.. there have been at other times I have used the map. The map is just blank.

There also seems no way to now exit the map to walk to the castle, so I cant' continue the game.

I have gone back to several previous auto saves, but when I hit this point in the story the same thing always happens.

please can someone help as I'd like to keep playing.

I have the same problem! Even took a day off of work tomorrow so this bug is actually costing me big money. I cant believe there isnt more known about it :(

Hi Blink,

I couldn't look at your screenshots because they gave me an error... You say your map has no icons at all? I actually had a similar problem at this exact same point in the game, where the only icons I could see on the map were white flags, but none of the green floo flame icons were showing up. I then figured out that if you click on the white flags, they zoom in and reveal the green floo flames icons. To get the white flags to appear (seeing as you say your map is blank with no icons at all), make sure once you open your map that you click on the button at the top of the screen that says 'Hogwarts Map', because at that point of the game I think the map is by default showing Hogsmeade.

Hopefully you just missed that small detail - sorry if my reply is not of any help.

I'm having this issue, but on my PS5.
After leaving Hufflepuff common room for the first time, I never went back and never unlocked the Floo Flame for it. Could this be causing me to be stuck?? I have all the flags on the map, but no Flames show up when I click on any of them. Backing out of the menu is not possible.
I gave up trying for the night, but I'm going to try closing the software in the morning and try again to see if anything changes. :/

I know you've said you've tried them all but you might need to rotate your view of the map in order to see the green floo flame icon. The common room floo flame should automatically be unlocked. You should try clicking on the flags again and rotating around each one. I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll eventually find your floo flame.

OMG! This helped me quick lol. You do have to rotate the map after clicking one of the white flames. Lol

The Great Hall > Common Room

Had the same problem, i just click everywhere near the white flag until the fast travel button appear on the screen
