Honestly don't use the mod.
The only way to beat a fear is to confront it, as someone who was phobic and now I just genocide them.
By not confronting the fear, you just make yourself weaker.
I am not like some who demand devs make an accessibility mode for my phobia. This is an extremely irrational issue of mine that does cause issues for me, but if it makes playing it more enjoyable, what's the harm in a mod? Enjoy your spiders my friend. I shall enjoy my boxes.
Phobias are usually deeply rooted. Just cause its pixels on a scream doesn't make it much less scary for people with this issue. Why does it bother you that people that have this issue now have a mod that can take care of it for them? How does it affect you?
Thank you, just did, didn't know that site. I was also concerned about Steam, like sometimes mods cause achievements to not trigger etc. But I installed it now and so far, so good :D I'm even a bit afraid of fighting boxes now since I know they are spiders
