Out of video memory (RTX 4090)

I cant even start the game because of the "out of video memory" error. Drivers are uptodate, also tryed to reinstall the game.

System:
13900k
RTX 4090
DDR5 64Gb (7200-34-45-45-115)

Is there any fix or work around?

Can you please explain what you mean with "swap file"? Do you mean an other partition?

Clean your driver with DDU and reinstall, if that doesn't work try rolling the driver back a version or 2.

This is for system RAM, they already have 64gb. It's likely a driver issue.

Specs tell : Ultra 4K 3090 TI → 3090 TI VRAM = 24 GB.
If you have less, you will run of out of VRAM with same settings.

it helped me... im having 32gb and my game was crushing like every 3min with "Out of video memory" error so idk

I have the same specs as you and i never had that error. The game only crashed once for me out of 15+ hours of gameplay. There must be something wrong with your system.

Out of video memory is pagefile. It's a problem with UE4 games. I highly recommend manually setting your pagefile to 8126mb and preferably on 2-3 drives. Windows likes to use the least active drive. It is due to me doing so that i have not crashed once despite play on ultra settings 1440p at 60fps with a 8gb GPU.

Making your pagefile 8-16gb will not and cannot hurt your PC. That and not just UE4 games love using pagefile.

That’s nothing. Mines at 7500mhz. My 13900ks is at 6.5ghz also.

I agree, maybe a RTX 4090 TI can fix this?

I had this issue. I found that my GPU driver just updated and after I reverted to the previous driver version I could run the game again.
