WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR?

Im randomly getting a blue screen error after playing today. updated to the latest drivers today, and toyed around with some stutter fixes and now I can play for around 5 minutes and then it randomly blue screens with that error. anyone else experiencing this? I have reverted all the changes I made (except the driver update) and it still happens.

Same can't even launch the game because I blue screen hopefully a patch fixes it

Been getting this too. First 2 days were smooth sailing but yesterday and today I've been getting these same hard crashes that require a reboot. I rolled back graphics drivers just in case which seemed to have given me more time between crashes but has not stopped them.

Exactly the same for me as well. Didn't crash once during the early access period. But since official release keeps giving same WHEA BSOD.

All possible fixes tried w.r.t. driver updates/roll-backs, OS updates and what not. Even tried a bit undervolting and increasing power limit for the graphics card, but nothing works.

Sometimes the will game will crash right from the profile / menu screen itself while not even in the game playing it. Worst is that sometimes it won't crash for 3-4 hours, and sometimes it crashes in 5mins.

What a mess.

After 23 hours of flawless playing I had a WHEA error myself. (Ryzen 5900)

I got this error; it's a hardware error. It took me months but you'll prob have to reseat everythign in your computer and maybe start replacing faulty parts.

Not likely to be because of the game. For me, replacing the power supply fixed it for about a month before I got the error again. I figured I might have shorted motherboard somewhere or had a bad match of PSU and MOBO. Basically, got a new mobo and that fixed my error. For others, it's due to RAM or something being unseated. I have had no problems with other games or programs for a year or so. Also, all stress testing tools report no problem at all! Therefore I'm afraid I have to disagree with your solution - shell out a couple of grand to supposedly fix the faulty game, at least it is an unwise solution.

While I understand your intent to help, I think hardware issues are consistently reproducible no matter which game you play. I've played similarly demanding games compared to this, but never had a WHEA BSOD.

Not to discredit your suggestion regarding re-seating everything, but in my case that's the 1st thing I did as I know what can possibly "generally" cause WHEA BSOD.

For me the game was playable for straight up hours and off late gradually it seems to crash even when I load up in the menu screen. That is not becasue of hardware, as the crashes would then be easily re-producible instead of currently being extremely erratic.

As for faulty RAM I've booted a MemTest86 multiple times since I first got this error to ensure I can do basic troubleshooting from my end. But I got no errors detected. Even on the Windows Memory Diagnostic tests I found no errors.

Now whether its a faulty driver from AMD, could be, but rolling back to previous stable drivers also causes this BSOD for me.

Finally would the GPU be bad? But then I would've faced at least 1-2 instances of this BSOD since I bought the GPU, but I haven't. And this is the 1st game where I have had to deal with such a headache.

Anyways, thanks for your suggestions, maybe re-seating will help for someone else. It didn't for me. I can try again a few times but I'm sure it won't help me.

Try a bios update if using a Ryzen 5000 CPU, when I first got my 5950x that's all it did until I updated the bios haven't had one whea crash since, you could also check ram with memtest86 or the built in windows memory diagnostic (people prefer memtest).

Nah pretty sure its the game, as it has been causing BSODs on laptops as well.
It can't be "driver issues bro" or "RAM bad" when many people are reporting it.

Especially when most of us never had this BSOD before.

but it can be , a bad driver can cause all sorts of issues
not so long ago i was having them in MW2
no other game just that one
driver patch from nvidia and boom fine

so yes it can be a driver issue

Whea Bsod is a Windows 11 error that some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up drivers dont work well, or in some or in most cases u have a major hardware issue, like the Powersupply is delivering not the kind of voltage it should, or to less power , or the graphic SD card got overheated cuz of to much dust... and and and...

note one thing old hardware dies slowly and depending how old ur pc is,, everything that has, condensators die slowly over time.. if ur very unlucky u buyed a new monday china product....

but whea Error has nothing to do with the game,
if it happens in game, it only means that the game forces the defective hardware over its limits...

WHEA is a hardwareprotection hold, means u have a mayor Hardware Issue u should fix, first thing to do

update all drivers... and i mean drivers not windows update... u need to get a driver updater or doing it by hand wich is sadly a lot work and u have to know ur hardware very well... if the drivers have issues, and the hardware get controlled wrong, it may lead to overheating problems, wich lead to weha errors ...

second thing to do is, clean ur cooling parts... sometimes it means dissasamble a many $$$ worth hardware, and rebuild it cuz of the airflow on places u cant reach with out dissasambling them, blowing out with air dosent help in all cases, and can if the fans are still connected to the system injekt power if they get blown and work as powergenerators and damage parts... so make shure they cant spin if u blow on them or at least plug the fan cabling...

third thing to do is change hardware parts,
starting on powersupply
going over ram
to Harddisk
and Graphic card...

in most cases its the power supply so start here, buy a bigger one and one for gamers Gold standart that delivers more then standart powersupplys...
