Anyway to sell resources? I.E. Mongrel Fur, Spider Fang

I overcompensated for my 4 inch wand by side-questing too much and now when I try to do the quest for Potions Class, the game doesn't register that I picked up the Mongrel Furs because I already have the max amount. So..

Is there anyway to sell/get rid of some mongrel furs?

Only thing I have been able to sell is gear. I have a feeling that was intentional.

I thinl you can destroy it from the inventory by pressing LS or RS

I think they are a craft ingredient for Edurus potions. Maybe you can craft lots of them and make room?

we can't until we finish potions class. And we can't do that because we can't pick a fur over the limit

None of the shops encountered by the time I completed the game give the option of selling anything other than clothing

Did you find a solution? I'm also stuck on the potions class since I have 999 mongrel fur lmao. Can't go back to a previous saved game since the game only keeps track of a handful of manual saves + autosaves.

Not possible. Items are not meant to be sold.

you use them to loom into your clothes to upgrade them

Actually you can sell beast at only one shop in Hogsmeade, but not beast by-products.
