Broom Flying tips please
I find the controls for flying the broom really clunky, does anyone have any tips for it.

If you have side mouse buttons, you can put go up and down on mouse buttons.
Otherwise, Changing Ctrl for go Down, to Q or E might help a lot.

With the controller I find that left and right really clunky. You have to have the stick really far to the left or right for it to work.

i seriously dont understand who designed this control scheme?
it's like ohhh let's make the control ultra frustrating otherwise flying would be too EASY AND FUN!

This is a great idea. I keep getting hung up on the tower on the second track thus making Mr not beat the time.

I will try this as well.

left and right is wonky as hell. it should be based on how you push the controller not in a grid.

I found that if you hit A or D to change direction, it screws up your mouse controlling it. I have since removed A and D from my keybindings to avoid that

The only thing I changed was CTRL to ALT to descend and find it pretty great.

Even with controller it's still janky as heck

There was really no point in making it pitch and yaw...could have just as easily done everything with left stick IMHO.

Use a controller and aim both sticks in the direction you want to go. Pretty simple to get used to.

Only design flaw is that there is no free camera rotation to see above or below you.

I rebound down to right click because apparently the Devs have more fingers than me.

True, don't know why they decide this scheme is the best one to use. Even flight simulator or game like Ace Combat doesn't use overly complicated flight control scheme.

I use a PS4 controller and it feels great to me. But an analog stick is always going to be better for such controls than keyboard and mouse. I did flip the controls in the settings. I would say the one issue I have is the slight side saddle so it is hard to line up targets as the camera seems to sit slightly to the right. I haven't looked for a setting for that as I've just learned to compensate but that could help people.

Pretty much same here - PS5 controller, inverted flight controls, and now that I'm used to it, I'm zipping through archways without a problem. The flying feels fantastic to me.

One thing though - the broom upgrades make a BIG difference.
