I have 32gbs of ram at 3200 speed. no issues and yes 16gbs is min requirements. and pc takes some of that so yeah people crashing without sufficient ram

im not crashing. im getting the random 20 secs 10 fps thingy
Player One Feb 8, 2023 @ 7:39am
I seem to be getting that too and I have 32GB RAM. I have tried with RT off also and same results.

I thought VRAM at first but mine seems to be around 84-90% and sometimes drops to 70%

the game is very enjoyable and these framedrops happen ocassionally but a fix would be very nice, for the sake of immersion

You're not describing a memory leak, just bad optimization or a subpar PC.

A memory leak is when the game's performance gets progressively worse and the ram usage escalates beyond what is usually is. Its "leaking" memory.

16gb is fine as long as you have enough V-ram. When you run out it starts loading into normal ram. This ISNT towards you but its crazy how people aren't understanding this. There is NO memory leak. I swear people just say things cause it sounds good even if they have no idea what they are talking about. If there was a real memory leak, no amount of ram would be enough. I have 32 and had the game running for 9 hours straight and the game used 13gb at max. If you are having normal ram issues, lower the V-ram demand. How? Lowering textures and res are a good way to start. When you are out of memory the game will hitch and stutter while it dumps old stuff to make room for more. You will get frame drops even when your GPU isnt at max usage. These are the telltale signs.

New driver update dropped from nVidia - Assuming you have an nVidia GPU, might be worth a try.

Just optimization problem (or / and Denuvo), not memory leak and yeah 16gb is more than enough, I think it use like 11gb max, maybe 1-2gb more I'm not sure

16 gb is minimum but also recommended :)

Exactly. Only 8gb of V-ram. I have a 7900XT, I have 20gb. 8 isnt enough anymore. We have had 8gb on cards since the 10 series. You need to lower your V-ram usage. I am using 15-17gb of v-ram at max setting at 4k. This game is heavy V-ram wise.
