Black screen after seizure warning?

The game is just hanging in a black screen and not responding opening through the play button in steam...


It worked last night, anyone else?

It's odd I played for 2.5 hours last night, it says will you launch with phoneix or something what is that?

Don't know why the steam play button isn't workin but if you get black screen and the music is still playing, just wait for 15 minutes. Worked for me in the morning. I didn't have to wait that much but better make sure, if it's actually a crash or if the game is just starting slowly.

Thanks, I'll try this now - it look a few seconds to get into game last night, something must have changed.

Same problem here. Tried to start the game this morning for the first time. Was thinking something was wrong with my PC, but thank god it's a general problem.

It's loading now....there is no splash screen to show progress loading shaders for a few minutes, now I can see the shader bar...leave it will work - just takes an ice age!

Shaders can take a while. Just be patience.

Same for me, the game freezes for an unusually long time at that warning screen.

Yes. I restarted PC and it loaded fine. Hasn't happened since.

sadly nothing is working for me. haven't even got the chance to wait, it crashes immediately after the seizure warning... it worked perfectly fine last night..

On a phone app now so I cant give direct advice, but in this case I would check appdata folder and see if your video settings have raytracing activated or maybe delete that particular file completely to reset video settings. There are some topics here how to do this.

Its super strange, played 5 hours yesterday and now im struggling to get in, been on shaders loading screen for about 15 plus mins and no music is playing, anyone else with no music?
