The workaround to solve this, is by opening your map, press L3 (The button on the right stick) and let the time pass to nighttime. Then start the mission. For me and for others, that was the answer.

As the title says, i have a game-breaking bug. After defeating the two Ashwinder Scouts, the game does not continue. Normally after that, the next enemys should show up. That just does not happen. I stand there and the game does not spawn them.

Is there a work around for that, or do i really have to wait for a bug-fix?

Yes i tried everything, besides reinstalling.

I just edited my initial post, because i thought after the first two enemys the fight would be over. I now watched a video and saw that after that the fight should have continued with new enemys.

I'm having the same issue. Nothing I do makes it work.

I just ran into the same problem
I abondoned the mission and then tried it again right away and that seemed to fix it.

There is very similar bug in the last fight in the wand tourney at clock tower, sometimes when You defeat all students (4this time) , a match just stays on, without victory sign.
Reloading save and starting subquest again helps.

Oh my god. It may be pure coincidence. But i tried to do the quest at night and now it worked for me.

I closed the game and reloaded a few times and kept trying. Eventually I was able to progress the quest.

Anyone try to change to nighttime for this problem? How do you do that on PC?
