[BUG?] Bell tower legendary chest

So, I opened it and my bag was full. I cleared some space and attempted to open it again but it's considered opened. What gives? The chest glows yellow when I R as if it can still be interacted/opened. Is the loot inside unobtainable now?

did you ever fix this? same happened to me.... if i have to load a save that will upset me

i did reload save and i have to say i would be super mad to lose this legendary hat because of a bug. so i really hope they had a fix for this issue for people who didnt load their save

I usually check if I have space before opening the big chests since I've seen this issue on other videos, but I've seen most chests will close themselves again if you don't have space.
