Prepare Downvote Reviews for Performance Issues

Game is unplayable for plenty of people despite their specs. Personally I have a 3080ti with a R9 5900x combo and 32 gb of ram there is no reason that I am getting 5fps game freezes with my entire PC locking up for minutes at a time until i close the game EVEN WITH RTX OFF.

There are plenty of other performance issues on PC and there is no way they will compensate you for the 72h early access so many people bought. My review is going up negative and will stay that way we need to stop accepting such broken ports on a technical level.

Edit: Have to say for the slow people here but if the game works then great job the post obviously isnt made for you. Getting a lot of "mUH gAmeE wORk sO uR cOmPUteR bAD" comments so this edit is especially for those people.

hhhhmmmmm no personaly i have gtx 1080 i9 9900k 32gb ram i can play on high settings with shadows on medium, i have 90 - 120 fps without any stuttering so no i will not follow ur call

You picked a dual chiplet processor with 6 cores per chiplet. For gaming you would have been better off buying the 5800X. You're also limited to 12GB VRAM and probably playing at 4K Ultra.

I have been watching the vram usage for max settings 1440P and it hovers between 10 to 16GB

This is my frame rate even with two active 1440P monitors.

You do not know what you are talking about the game locks at 10fps that is not normal this is a game problem. If it works then great for you read the edit but the game is absolutely broken for plenty of people and it has nothing to do with my 3080ti or my R9 5900x you cannot ever convince me otherwise.

Every piece of software and hardware you buy comes with a warning that says it may not be compatible with the software and hardware environment on your PC. Welcome to gaming. Embrace the suck and become a master troubleshooter. PC Master Race.

If people are playing this on a low end hdd, no matter what the rest of their config is, the hdd is gonna cause stutter.

This the problem, some people think all they have to worry about is ram/gpu and the rest doesnt really matter when the truth of the matter is that once your pc gets bottleneck by a part, that bottleneck is there.

So you didnt differentiate downloading and unpacking.

Then you said that after unpacking for 45m youbswitched the game to your ssd and it is there you experienced all your problems.

But now you played on both the hdd and the ssd and there wasnt a difference.

for those who say it runs bad perfomance-wise.... how does it run when you lower your graphic settings, or is it still lagging on low quality? just curious.

i was getting the same stutter and fps drops on all the settings. but turning off ray tracer was the only thing that stopped it

It's weird this and Dead Space have the same "plummeting to single digit fps out of nowhere" issue. Wonder if it's driver related.

Lots of issues can be the problem driver issue, virtual memory settings within windows, windows have some settings that override the graphic drivers. To small power supply so when the gfx needs to max out performance it throttles down. Bad heat in the system when high gpu usage causing thermal throttle and so on and so forth lots of reason nothing to do with the game ,plenty of people getting good performance on lower end pc

I love when people give specs for there big bad PC and say X game is not running and here I am running fine on a bloody laptop with a 1050 ti. Mostly low settings mind you but still smooth.

The game ran poorly on my HDD so I moved it to my SSD to see if it made any difference, because that's what I should have done. And all of my complaints in this thread are from the 6 hours I spent playing the game on my SSD, and not the 7 minutes I spent playing it on my HDD.

Was having issues like others, but followed directions to lower my settings to medium and windowed. The game recommended ultra but would not play. In fact playing the game I found no degradation in the video and it looked smooth at medium settings. Yes my drivers are updated and playing on 2080 ti.
