I am curious now if you got the day one patch or not, i assume no.
Early Access is an actual thing that has an actual definition on Steam. It comes with a giant warning that says "YOU ARE BUYING AN UNFINISHED PRODUCT. THERE MIGHT BE BUGS!". This is not that. They are selling this game as a finished product, and it's a broken mess for a large chunk of their players.
Lower your game settings if you can't run it at max. It uses over 16GB of VRAM at max Ultra settings at 3440x1440. A 3080 Ti only has 12GB so you likely need to reduce your settings a bit.
But the stuttering is a separate issue. No amount of tweaking settings will fix that because it's likely the result of some massive memory leak.
sons 3600 and 6700xt 2k ultra settings also no issues and runs smooth
friends systems
5600xt and 6800xt 2k ultra
3700xt and 6700 2k ultra
i9 12900k and 3070ti 4k ultra
all no issues and runs smooth
only system that had to turn down settings was with a 1660ti 1080p but was smooth
oh none of us are running raytracing
Depends on what you mean by "by far" I guess. It's over 5 million pixels, while 1440p is half that. Also our 3000 series cards were unfortunately aged way too early for various reasons.
Anyway... hopefully the actual issue is patched.
But yeah homie, never go into any sort of "play early" deal expecting a smooth game.
It is the game.
2560x1440 = 3,686,400 pixels
That is not half, not even close.
4K with everything on max, ray tracing off, and DLSS set to quality, I'm getting consistent 90-120 frames.
