Game won't launch

ok so i have requested refund, i purchased and downloaded on the epic store and can get in with no issues, It has to be a steam issue

find the main exe. file and set it to run as administrator then right click the exe, again and run windows troubleshoot, let windows run a test on it and it should come up with a windows 8 compatibility patch, run the game and if it works save the settings. thats how i got mine to work again. hope this helps

same here push play button then nothing. very dissapointing and pathetic. i am tired of those workaround tipps that mostly dont even work and most importantly since when is it the costumers responsibility to fix a product that they paid for and should run in the first place.

Sure, take all the days you'll own it and divide by that plus 5. That's the portion you need to pay. Difference is your refund, about a nickel.

You have to refund your game on Steam and Purchase Hogwarts Legacy from Epic Games. Keep in mind to get a refund Steam requires you to have played less than 20 hours i think.
Since i switched to Epic Games i had zero problems with launching or playing the game. Good luck

This is the same problem i had, its like it doesnt instal properly from steam even though i uninstalled and reinstalled. I refunded, purchased on epic and have been fine since
