Yeah, this bothered me. I don't have a problem with her being trans but trans people are trying to pass as their presenting gender, they rarely go around in their very passing female bodies but talking in a clearly male voice. That was lazy representation, but the intro to the character was good.

Not sure if its spoken by a trans there, but if it is, the person really needs to work at their voice to at least sound a little bit like a woman. Im more confused that in a world of "wizzards" something like a trans even exists? Dont they have magic??? You dont want to be a male, okey "hokus Pokus" now you are a female. A trans feels so missplaced in a magic world, she could say that she once was a man but then cast the gender change spell on herself or so, to keep it "trans".
